I figured it out. I had to download the appropriate version of php-mcrypt, php-pdo,php-cli... etc. Some more dependencies came up and I downloaded those. The upgrade worked. I downloaded the dependency: php-common-5.3.0-1.fc6.remi.i386.rpm When I tried to install it conflicted with php-common-5.1.6-3.7.fc6 so I tried to remove it but I'm getting an error which I'm not sure what to do about. Do you have any tips here?
