I haven’t updated my blog is so long. I have been really busy doing affiliate marketing over the past weeks that I haven’t had time to write anything but adwords ads.
I have been using Azoogle as my affiliate company, and not too long ago started using Commission Junction. Both are great places for an affiliate, but they are different.
Azoogle has a really good stats system. Every 10 minutes or so they give you update on clicks and leads which allows you to quickly modify your advertising campaigns depending on how you are doing. Plus my rep has been great, even though I know she is busy, I have been able to get a hold of her without any problems.
Commission Junction has a lot more offers compared to Azoogle. It doesn’t make it better but having many offers to chose from is nice. I do have a problem with their stats though. Sometimes I will not see anything for hours. It sometimes even takes days to see if you got any leads from certain offers. That makes it very difficult to know if your campaign is doing well or not. Its very easy to blow money on your marketing campaign without even knowing if you are doing well or not.
I had success with Azoogle over February and was able to make pretty good profit. March has been a bit slower. One offer that made me some serious cash just simply got burnt out (first came a limit of leads/day, then came the drop in payout), so now I am working pretty hard to get profits from other offers that are not as successful in converting. Anyone that has done some affiliate marketing would know that this isn’t as easy as some people think.
