Over the weekend I upgraded to WordPress 2.1 and changed the theme. I like this new theme, but have to get another image for the header, the current one comes as default. Upgrading was very simple, just backup the database and do some file swapping. So my hat goes off to the guys that developed this great tool.
Also, Tony Chung was kind enough to add my site to his blogroll. This is a very new blog and getting people over here is not an easy task, so this is good news to me.

Sprint Nextel reported that they lost around 300,000 users in the last quarter of 2006. Being that I am one of those people I thought I would put in my few cents.
I had Nextel for around 3 years and could not wait to get rid of it. I couldn’t complain about the reception, even though it was bad at my new place (most services are in the building). I couldn’t really complain about their customer service either (didn’t really have to deal with them much). I couldn’t complain about my phone either…wait a second, I HATED my phone!!! For the record, I had the Motorola i730. I would recommend that brick to people that hate text messaging, think the definition of fitness is carrying weights in their pants, and still believe that the higher resolution thing will never catch on.
All jokes aside, I could have spend more money and upgraded my phone, but none of their devices seem as stylish as other devices available on the market. I ended up getting a KRAZR with Verizon and love that thing. I don’t even feel it in my pocket. I also hopped on the text messaging bandwagon. You probably want to say “dude, text messaging has been around for a while now”. To that I say “no f**king sh*t!” To those that never had a pleasure of trying the Motorola i730, if you want to text someone, you have to use phone’s web browser, go through bunch of menus, and then compose a message without being able to select numbers from your address book.
No wonder why this news didn’t come as a shock to me.
Enough of my rants.
