Waco Brothers Playing At Martyr’s In Chicago

So this Saturday, Jan 13, 2007, Waco Brothers are playing at Martyr’s in Chicago. I personally have never been to but I have seen Waco Brothers before. Both shows were at Schubas Taven and I have to say were both really great shows (I preferred the first one because it was the first time and I was a bit more intoxicated).

The music can be described as punk/country but in my opinion its definitely more punk. I know the combo sounds a bit unusual but they ROCK! Anyone that lives in Chicago and likes good music should check these guys out. The first time I saw them I was probably the youngest person there at 25 which was rather interesting, but a blast is a blast when you are with great people.

This will be my third time seeing the Waco Brothers and I can’t wait! Blurry memories and hopefully some pictures will follow.

I certainly wasn’t the oldest person (I think i am technically younger than all members of the band).

some say ‘Cash meets the Clash’.. Perhaps I’ll make it but I’m probably going to be at MoB @double-door and 2 shows in 1 weekend would be pretty unlikely.
