The news about LG coming out with a dual-format drive was pretty exciting. There was not Laserdisc/DVD player as far as I know so hearing about this seems like LG is on top of their game.Â

But even though this is exciting news, what will this will do to the whole “who will win” question. Seems to me that this will just prolong the format war which will affect all of us. Maybe its just me, but I believe that there should be one standard.Â
